How we started

 

Mrs Govender's All-In-One Curry Paste was created by Pietermaritzburg mother Vinotha Govender in 1990, to satisfy her children's yearning for home style cooking whilst they were studying abroad.

​

Mrs Govender's All-In-one Curry Paste has won multiple International Awards in Paris & Germany, as well as numerous awards locally.

​

Mrs Govender was a self taught cook, and started manufacturing the All-In-One Curry Paste in her one bedroom flat. She was renowned for her original recipes and authentic preparation of numerous ethnic cuisines. Her entrepreneurial spirit helped her develop a winning recipe for curry paste, which attracted international interest from India, France, Russia and the United Kingdom.

Mrs Govender has since passed on, but her curry paste is still made by her husband Krish, in the same way as she did.

​

Krish Govender  shares the same passion for excellence as his wife did - masterfully blending, and roasting a total of twenty one pure spices to create a curry paste loved by South African's, and people around the world.​

​

Krish has started up the business again, in honour of his late wife, and is ready to supply his valued customers around the world.
